口腔電撃傷の1例

　家庭電気器具のコードをオモチヤ代りにして遊んでいた幼児が誤つて口腔に電撃傷を招いた一症例を経験したので報告する。

A localized electrical shock and burn occur-red in a male child, aged 2 years and 7 mon-ths, when it came in an accidental contact with alive wire carrying an electrical current of 100 volt at 60 cycles. The burns involved the tongue and both lower lips where the wires came in a direct contact but amazingly the current did not cause any generalized shock nor loss of consciousness. The lesions in this case appears to be in a close agreement with what has been described by Jellinek as electrische immediatnekrose.
