興味ある眼振所見を呈した前頭葉・頭頂葉腫瘍の1例

　まえがき

　中枢性疾患に対する前庭機能検査成績に関しては従来多くの報告があるが，1942年Fitzgerald及びHallpike等の眼振方向優位性（Directional Preponderance以下DPと略称）なる慨念の導入以来，この方面からの検討が近年盛んに行われるようになつて来た。われわれも数年来病巣の局在診断を目標として種々の前庭機能検査を試みているが，前庭機能検査成績のみによつて病巣の所在を確定することはなお困難である。最近われわれは右前頭・頭頂部の嚢胞性腫瘍の1例を経験し，これについて詳しく観察を行い，その臨床経過と前庭機能検査成績との間に密接な関係があることを認めると共に，その眼振検査成績が，本疾患の予後判定に役立ち得ることを認めたのでその大要を報告する。

A case of fronto-temporal brain cyst is re-ported ; the patient was a by aged 11. With vestibular tests a marked directional prepon-derance towards the diseased side was rec-ognized ; after suction drainage of the cyst the directional prepondernance was reversedto the oposite side weich recovered in 23days to become normal. However on the 43rd day directinal preponderance towards the diseas-ed side again rappeared.

Ocular examination at this time showed no abnormality. The pateint was operated upon for removal of the cyst.
