診断困難なりし後天性巨舌症の1例

　緒言

　巨舌症は今日一般に先天性のものとされているが，最近は一見悪性腫瘍を疑わせる所見を呈し診断に迷つた，後天性巨舌症と思われる症例を経験したので報告したいと思う。

Sentow reports a case of marked swelling of tongue apparently casued by interstitial hemorr-hage. Malignancy was suspected but ruled out by tissue and blood examinations. The history of the patient revealed that immediately prior to the onset of present illness, teleangiectic angioma was removed from the tongue. The patient made an uneventful recovery under antibiotic treatment.
