耳朶のケロイド

　中耳炎手術後，耳後部切創瘢痕組織が肥厚・膨隆するのを屡々見る。これはhypertrophic scarとも呼ばれるが，類似したもので耳朶に出来るKeloidというものがある。

　第1,2図はそのグロテスクな一例を示す。患者は18歳のニグロ少女。7ヵ月前に耳輪を嵌めるため・縫針で耳朶に孔をあけた所，4ヵ月前から漸次大きくなる腫瘤ができた。患者は短い縮れ毛をむりにのばし，その上頸巻きまでしてひたすらこれを隱すのに苦心していた。一般にニグロは短毛系であるので，此の妙齢の少女は大いに悩んでいるものと見えた。

Su reports Keloid of both ear-labes of a 19 yrs. old negro girl. The Keloid appeared 4 months after the ear-piercing. The tumors mere remo-ved surgically, and skin-grafts were transplanted to the wounds. Five hundreds r of X-ray irra-diation was administered to the wound. The factors involving Keloid of auricle were consi-dered.
