人咽頭腔に於ける絞扼反射開發部位に就いて

　吾々は咽頭後壁粘膜に指又は舌壓子或いは喉頭鏡等を觸れると絞扼反射運動（Würgreflex，vomiting reflex）の起ることを屡々經驗している。又一方直達鏡検査に際して前準備として舌根，咽頭後壁，梨子状窩等に機械的にコカイン水を塗布してその操作を容易ならしめている。所で私は咽頭腔の如何なる部位が此の絞扼運動に對して亢奮性（Erregbarkeit）が強いかという事に興味を抱き，いささか知見を得たので茲に發表する次第である。

　YOSHIDA studies the state of sensitivity inherent in the laryngeal mucous membranes by causing gag-reflex with application of mechanical stimuli, either pressure or touch to various parts of that structure. The reflex becomes proportionately stronger the deeper the parts of larynx are reached. Sensitivity increases in the posterior wall as its either lateral borders are approached.
