Nonaka and Niho report a case of lymphangioendothelioma and discuss its symptoms, age incidence, diagnosis and method of treatment. A child 3 years of age, which was accompanied by its mother sought relief from a swelling that was present in the nasal vestibule. The previous examiner believing the swelling to be a furunculosis made an attempt for incision and drainage; since which, a rapid increase in its size occurred. Present examination revealed the growth as having its origin in the left malar region and moreover, proved it to be a lymphangioendothelioma. Surgical removal of the tumor was later supplemented by irradiations and the together of which accomplished a complete cure of the patient without further complications. It is interesting to note, from statistical view point, that such growths have a greater tendency to occur on left side of face rather than the right.
