尿路結石症におけるアルミゲル使用経験

TREATMENT OF UROLITHIASIS WITH ALUMI GEL

緒言

　アルミグルは水酸化アルミニウム・グルの乾燥粉末で恒量になる迄燃熱したもので，そのものはAL₂O₃（過酸化アルミニウム）を50％以上含有し，白色，無味，無嗅，無結晶の粉末で水及びアルコールには不溶であるが，水酸化アルカリ，稀鉱酸には溶解する。このものは消化器潰瘍の治療剤として広く使用されその主なる作用は，胃酸度を低下し，その粘膜被覆作用及び収斂作用により，潰瘍，胃酸過多等の症状を速かに治癒するものである。またアルミゲルによる燐酸結石予防に関する臨床成績はBarreff，辻氏，加藤氏等の数報告があるが，著者も数例の腎，尿管結石症及び約60例の脊髄損傷者に本剤を使用したのでその臨床成績を報告する。

　1）第1例　26歳　男子　右珊瑚樹状結石

Although there are some methods of the prevention of urolithiasis based on the chemical composition of the urinary calculus, nutrition of the patient, findings of the kindney and topical anatomy, there is no definite uports of Barrett, Tsuji, Kato, et al on the effects of Alumi Gel for the prevention of the used hydrated Alumi Gel for a considerable length of time.

In one case, it was used for about 2 years disappeared or decreased. The administration of hydrated Alumi Gel in 63 cases with spinal lesion resulted in an incrcase in pH in urine. A daily dosage of 3 to 4 gm. was administered, and no side effects were seen in particular, however, there was a tendensy to constipation. This may be prevented by the use of Aumi Gel contain-ing magnesium trisilicate, laxatives, hydrated Alumi Gel has to be administered for a consider-able length of time.
