グリセロールの脳血流量・脳血液量・脳酸素代謝に及ぼす影響

The Effect of Glycerol on Regional Cerebral Blood Flow, Blood Volume and Oxygen Metabolism

I．はじめに

　グリセロールは頭蓋内圧降下剤や脳浮腫治療薬としてよく用いられているが，本剤の脳循環や脳代謝に及ぼす影響については未だ不明な点も多い．今回，われわれは髄膜腫にて頭蓋内圧亢進症状がみられ，CTにてperi—focal edemaを有する症例を対象に¹⁵O標識ガスとポジトロンエミッションCTを用いてグリセロールの脳循環代謝に及ぼす影響について検討を加えた．

Using positron emission tomography with 15O-labelled CO₂, O₂ and CO gases, the effects of glycerol on regional cerebral blood flow (CBF), blood volume (CBV) and oxygen metabolism (CMRO₂) were investi-gated in 6 patients with meningioma accompanying peritumoral brain edema. The same study was done in 5 normal volunteers. The changes of blood gases, hematocrit and hemoglobin were also examined. After a drip infusion of glycerol, the regional CBF increased not only in the peritumoral cortex and white matter but also in the intact cortex and white matter on the con-tralateral side.
