I．はじめに

　嗅神経芽腫は嗅粘膜上皮より発生する比較的稀な腫瘍であり，1924年Bergerらによる初めての報告^3）以来，本邦における13例^{1,9,11,13,14,17）}を含め，これまで約190例^11）が報告されている．本疾患は鼻閉，鼻出血で発症することが多いため，報告例の多くは耳鼻咽喉科領域からなされてきたが，嗅神経芽腫の20％に頭蓋内浸潤がみられ，脳腫瘍の症状で発症した症例も報告されていること^{2,5-7,10,24）}から，前頭蓋底腫瘍をみた場合，本腫瘍も念頭におかなければならない疾患の1つと思われる．最近われわれは頭蓋内転移巣による症状で発症した嗅神経芽腫の1例を経験したので，若干の考察を加えて報告する．

A rare case of olfactory neuroblastoma presenting symptoms as a brain metastasis is reported.

A 47-year-old man was admitted to Yamagata City Hospital complaining of head heaviness and headache attack. Neurologically, bilateral slight choked disc and right anosmia were found. The otolaryngologist in this hospital pointed out a reddish-purple poly-poid tumor in the right nasal cavity. But there were no episodes of nasal bleeding or obstruction before admission.
