皮質下Cavernous angioma 6例の臨床的検討

Clinical Study on Six Cases of Subcortical Cavernous Angiomas

I．はじめに

　頭蓋内cavernous angiomaは比較的稀な疾患であるが，病巣が手術可能な部位に存在することが多く，手術による治癒率が高いことより従来から注目されてきた．また，hemangioma calcificansが難治性のてんかん発作の原因となる器質的病変として重要視されつつある．著者らは最近，皮質下に存在する比較的小さいCavernousangioma 6例を経験し，そのCT像や脳血管撮影像を中心に詳細な分析を行い，それらの所見と手術所見とを対比検討したので文献的考察を加えて報告する．

Cavernous angioma is a rare but important clinicalentity because of its potential curability. We experi-enced with 6 cases of cavernous angiomas located inthe subcortical region and summarized with specialrespect on clinical symptoms, CT scan, angiographicmanifestations and operative findings. In all ofthese 6 cases, the diagnosis is confirmed as cavernousangioma histologically.

The age in these cases ranged from 16 to 45 yearsand sex distribution was 3 males and 3 females. Initialsymptoms of 6 cases were long-standing epilepsy in 4cases and attack of unconsciousness in 2 cases.
