Acromegaly and Spinal Canal Stenosis

I．はじめに

　先端巨大症に伴う脊椎椎体の骨変化と脊髄障害の関連につき言及した報告例は少ない．われわれは長年月にわたり腰痛，下肢痛，歩行障害を主訴とした先端巨大症の1例を経験したので，先端巨大症と脊髄障害の発症について若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A rare case of acromegaly with radiculomyelopathydue to spinal canal stenosis is reported. A longhistory of acromegalic deformity was seen on this 55years old acupuncture therapist for the last 18years,while he had developed unusually increased appetite,profuse perspiration and gained weight. Fifteenyears ago, acromegalic tendency became prominent andwas accompanied by low back and knee pain. In1974 CB-154 was administered in several occasionsbeside 4000 rads irradiation to the sella.
