新生児後期に発症した脳動静脈奇形の1例

A Case of Arteriovenous Malformation Showed Onset of Symptoms on the Late Neonatal Period

I．はじめに

　脳動静脈奇形（以下AVMと略す）は小児の脳血管障害のなかでは比較的よく経験する疾患であるが，新生児期に発症した報告は少ない．そのなかではGalen静脈瘤の報告が多く，網状AVMの発症は稀である．私どもは生後23日目に発症した網状AVMの1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A female Japanese baby was horn at full term. Neonatalhistory was uneventful until she had bad temper, pallor andvomiting on 23th day. Her head size increased abnormallyuntil it was 42.5 cm when she was admitted to ShizuokaChildren's Hospital with a diagnosis of possible hydro-cephalus at 2 months old. CT scan showed a large cysticcavity communicated with the dilated lateral ventricles.
