I．はじめに

　Holoprosencephalyは種々の臨床的特徴を有する大脳の形成障害の1つであるが，予後不良で，生後1年以内に死亡している例が多い^{1-3,6-9,11,18,20）}，本稿では，在胎中に巨大頭蓋を発見され，帝王切開にて出産，生後3日目に先天性水頭症として当科に人院し，臨床検査でholoprosencephalyが疑われ，生後22日目に脳室腹腔短絡術を施行し，長期生存に至りた症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A long survived case of holoproseneephaly withhydro-cephalus has been infrequently reported in theliterature.One such case were presented on this report.

This male baby by cesarean section because of hislargehead circumferenced 45 cm. He was admitted to ourclinicdiagnosed as congenital hydrocephalus at the thirdday frombirth. On admission the circumference of his head wasmeasured 49 cm, but other external malformations werenotnoticed. Right transaxillary carotid angiogram showedanterior cerebral artery appeared like azygosanterior cerebralartery.
