A case of developmental stenosis of the cervical spinal canal with the flat nasal bridge, the trident-shaped hands and the short limbs was reported.

The patient was 50-year-old man, who noticed gait disturbance and weakness of the upper extremities eight years prior to admission and three years later complained of difficulty in urinary and bowel control, and sensory disturbance in the arms and legs. These symptoms became worse progressively and he was admitted to Hokkaido University Hospital on June 20, 1978.
