脳腫瘍嚢胞液の免疫化学的検討

Immunochemical Investigation of Brain Tumor Cyst Fluids

Ⅰ．はじめに

　脳腫瘍は周知のようにしばしば嚢胞（cyst）を形成するが，これは他臓器の腫瘍と異なった脳腫瘍の1つの特徴である．しかしながら嚢胞形成の機序についてはまだ一定の見解がなく，嚢胞液（cyst fluid）の免疫化学的な分析もほとんど行なわれていない．

　今回著者らは，嚢胞を形成した脳腫瘍患者の術前血清と手術時に得られた嚢胞液について，それぞれ免疫電気泳動，免疫グロブリン（IgG，IgA，IgM），β_1c／1Aglobuiin，haptoglobinの定量を行ない，また患者自己血清と嚢胞液を用いて免疫粘着反応（immune adherence）を施行したので，その結果を報告するとともに，特にgliomaの嚢胞形成および嚢胞液のいわゆる　Froin徴候の機序について著者らの推論を述べてみたい．

The authors investigated immunochemically brain tumor cyst fluids, because immunochemical analysis of cyst fluids can presumably provide some important informations on the mechanism of cyst formation or the immunotherapy for patients with brain tumors.

The cases were 35 in total, consisting of eight benign gliomas, nine malignant gliomas, six crainopharyngiomas, four hemangioblastomas, five metastatic tumors and three other tumors. The authors carried out agar gel immunoelectrophoresis and quantitative measurement of various proteins in both sera and cyst fluids.
