It is the purpose of this paper to report two surgical cases of syndrome of kinked internal carotid artery associated with cerebrovascular insufficiency.

Case1: 43-year-old female was admitted to our survice with the chief complaint of frequent episodes of dizziness and marked tremor of the right hand. There was no rigidity in the extremities. Right carotid angiography demonstrated marked stenosis (about 70%) caused by kinking of extracranial internal carotid artery 2.5cm distal to the bifurcation of the right common carotid artery. After the total removal of the affected part of the artery, end-to-end anastomosis was performed.
