  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A case of spontaneuously cured intracranial aneurysm was described in detail. Seven cases verified by angiography or operation had been reported so far in the literature. Duration from the first angiography to nonfilling of aneurysm were within 6 months in 3 cases, 2 years in 1, 5 years in 1 and 15 years in 1.

The presented case was a 42-year-old male who had an episode of the subarachnoid hemorrhage on September 11, 1972 during medication for a sepsis. A carotid angiography revealed an oval intracranial aneurysm of 8×5 mm. size at the trifurcation of the left middle cerebral artery.
