In order to make an accurate and practical rating scale for mild disturbance of consciousness (MDOC), 109 cases of MDOC were studied multiclinically. A special protocol for this study was used. On the basis of the data of 87 cases without missing value, the characteristic clinical pictures in MDOC were analyzed statistically. The Ⅲ-3 formula (a new grading of level of disordered consciousness by Ohta et al. 1974) was used provisionally as a classification of conscious-ness level.
