重症筋無力症と橋本病を合併せる1例—自己免疫機序についての1考察

A case of myasthenia gravis associated with Hashimoto's disease: with particular reference to the discrepancy between immunosuppressive effect of corticosteroids and myasthenic symptoms

　重症筋無力症に橋本病を合併した54歳女子の1例を報告した。副腎皮質ホルモン投与により免疫能は著明に抑制され甲状腺腫が縮少するにかかわらず筋無力症は著明に悪化した。この両者のdiscrepancyから本症の自己免疫説に抑判的な考察を加えた。

　A growing attention has recently been paid upon the association of myasthenia gravis and chronic thyroiditis of Hashimoto's type from the view of autoimmune mechanism. In this report, a case of combination of these disorders was reported with particular discussions as to reverse effects of corticosteroid upon each condition.

　The patient, a 54-year-old female, complained of transient dysphagia in December 1964.
