Paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration

　paraneoplastic cerebellar degenerationを呈する病態としては，抗Yo抗体陽性例，抗Hu抗体陽性例，Hodgkin病合併例，Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome合併例，抗Ri抗体陽性例などがある。このなかで，もっともよく研究されている抗Yo抗体陽性例を中心に，抗体と対応抗原の性質，抗体診断上の問題点，動物モデル作製の試みの現状，神経細胞障害のメカニズムに関する研究の現状と問題点，治療上の問題点などについて紹介した。

　Paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes may be caused by an autoimmune process stimulated with tumor antigen that normally found in neurons. The patients with paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration show autoantibodies in their sera including anti-Yo, anti-Hu, anti-Ri antibody and others. The anti-Yo antibody, staining cytoplasm of cerebellar Purkinje cells, is a marker of breast, ovarian, and other female genital tract tumors. The patients with anti-Yo antibody show subacute cerebellar ataxia, mild memory deficits, and hyporeflexia.
