エコーガイド下TURでドレナージを行った前立腺膿瘍

Transurethral incision and resection of prostatic abscess under transrectal ultrasound guidance:A case report

　患者は53歳，男性。糖尿病を放置していた。膀胱刺激症状，膿尿で来院し，前立腺肥大症に膀胱炎をきたしたものとして抗生剤投与を行つたが無効であつた。造影CT,MRIにて前立腺膿瘍と診断し，経直腸エコーガイド下TURでドレナージを行い，早期に治癒せしめることができた。

A 53-year-old man visited our hospital with complaintsof poor urinary stream and frequency. He had uncon-trolled diabetes mellitus. Prostatic swelling without ten-derness or fluctuation with pyuria were detected. Hereceived oral antibiotics for 4 days, however, the pyuriashowed no improvement. Enhanced CT scan and MRIrevealed prostatic abscess. Transurethral resection(deroofing) under transrectal ultrasound guidance wasperformed and he became cured.
