紫色採尿バッグ症候群の2例

Two Cases of Purple Urine Bag Syndrome

　紫色採尿バッグ症候群を2例経験した。2例とも寝たきりの高齢女性であり，便秘傾向にあった。発症時，2症例とも尿路感染症が認められたが，尿中インジカンは1例で陰性であった。本症そのものの治療の必要性については議論があるが，本症を合併しないような患者管理が必要と思われた。

We report two cases of purple urine bag syndrome, in which the urinary bag discolored to intense purple. Both patients were bedridden elderly women having constipation. Al-though their urine were infected, urine indican was nega-tive in one patient. The necessity of treatment for this syndrome is controversial, but it is important to avoid patients to develop this syndrome.
