尿管欠損の補填に虫垂を用いた1例

A CASE REPORT OF APPENDIX INTERPOSITION OF THE URETER

　52歳の女性で，右下腹部痛を主訴として来院したが，右水腎水尿管を認めた。回盲部の後腹膜腫瘍の診断にて手術を施行したが，右卵巣癌であり，尿管に浸潤していたため，尿管部分切除をおこなった。尿管欠損に対して虫垂を補填した。

A 52-year-old woman complaining of pain in the right lower abdomen had a mass in the retroperitoneum. Right ureter was involved in the mass, therefore, partial ureterectomy was performed. In order to repair the defect of the ureter, appendix was interposed with its vascular supply. The diameters of upper dilated ureter, lower ureter and appendix was 15 mm, 7 mm and 13 mm, respectively. After discarding the tip of appendix, it was anastomosed to the proximal ureter over the ureteral stem and cecal end was anastomosed to the lower ureter.
