　前立腺癌再燃例8例，抗男性ホルモン無効例1例に対して，ヒト前立腺癌樹立細胞株を用いたコロニー形成阻止試験による抗癌剤感受性試験の結果より得ている感受性のよいカルボコン・アドリアマイシン・シスプラチンの3剤併用療法を施行した．近接効果について，本邦前立腺癌臨床効果判定基準研究グループの判定基準に準じての総合効果判定では，有効2例，不変5例，進行2例であり，有効＋不変の率78％と良好であった．また副作用として，食欲不振，悪心，脱毛，造血器障害などが認められたが，いずれも中等度以下であった．

Combination chemotherapy with cis-platinum, adriamycin and carboquone (PAQ therapy) was perfor-med in 9 patients with prostatic cancer which were resistant to or relapsing from anti-androgen therapy. Carboquone. adriamycin and cis-platinum have been found to be highly sensitive to the established cell lines of human prostatic cancer by means of colony formation inhibition assay. 2 patients showed partial response, 5 were stable disease and 2 showed progressive disease according to the criteria defined by the Japanese Study Group of Response Criteria for Prostatic Cancer Treatment.
