　1985年1月から1987年12月までの3年間に，当院では273例の経皮的腎砕石術（PNL）が施行された。これらの症例について，手術回数，麻酔方法，麻酔時間，術中の合併症，麻酔管理上の問題点などを検討した。麻酔方法は持続硬膜外麻酔が最も多く，次いで気管内挿管麻酔で，この両者で全体の約94％を占めた。術中の合併症としては血圧低下，徐脈が多かった。血圧の変化は気管内挿管麻酔の方が有意に大きかったが，脈拍数に関しては有意差はみられなかった。PNLの麻酔管理上の問題点も多く，侵襲の少ない治療法であるという認識を改め，細心の注意を払って行う必要がある。

During the 3-year period between January 1985 and December 1987, percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (PNL) was conducted in 273 patients at our clinic. We examined the number of operations, anesthetic method, duration of anesthesia, intraoperative complications and anesthetic control in these cases. Continu-ous epidural anesthesia was most commonly used followed by endotracheal anesthesia. These two anesthetic procedures accounted for approximately 94%. Decreased blood pressure and bradycardia were the most common intraoperative complications.
