　近年，尿管狭窄に対しさまざまな内視鏡治療が適応となっている．今回われわれは，2011年12月から2022年3月までに尿管狭窄と診断した22例を対象とし，経尿道的尿管バルーン拡張（以下，バルーン拡張とする）術を施行しその有効性に関して検討を行った．22例中15例（68.2％）で水腎症の改善を認め，15例のうち2例は再度バルーン拡張を施行することで改善を認めた．尿管狭窄に対しバルーン拡張術を施行することは有効であると考えられた．

Abstract

In recent years, various endoscopic treatments have been applied to ureteral stricture. In the present study, we investigated the efficacy of transurethral ureteral balloon dilation in 22 patients with ureteral stricture diagnosed between December 2011 and March 2022. Fifteen of 22 patients (68.2%) showed improvement of hydronephrosis, and 2 of 15 patients improved with re-balloon dilation. These results suggest that balloon dilation is effective in the treatment of ureteral stricture (Rinsho Hinyokika 77 : 927-930, 2023).
