歯科用エアタービンが有効であったペットボトルによる陰茎絞扼症

Penile strangulation by polyethylene terephthalate bottle : A case report

　20歳男性．ペットボトルを陰茎に挿入したが，浮腫が進行し，抜去できなくなったために当院に救急搬送となった．病院到着時には絞扼してから約2時間半経過していた．動機は自慰行為目的であった．ペットボトルの口部は歯科用エアタービンを用いて作業開始から約1時間程度で合併症なく絞扼解除できた．歯科用エアタービンは硬性絞扼物の絞扼解除に有用な器具であると考えられた．

Abstract

We report the case of penile strangulation in a 20-year-old man. The patient was sent to the emergency room of our hospital because of penile swelling caused by penile strangulation occured in the mouth of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle. He had inserted his penis into the bottle to satisfy his sexual urges. He visited our hospital 2.5 hours after the episode. The mouth of the PET bottle was successfully cut approximately 1 hour later, using a dental air turbine, and no complications were noted. We believe that a dental air turbine is useful for removal of firm objects strangulating the penis (Rinsho Hinyokika 71 : 629-632, 2017).
