経尿道的前立腺切除後の膀胱頸部硬化症

BLADDER NECK CONTRACTURE FOLLOWING TRANSURETHRAL RESECTION OF THE PROSTATE

緒言

　膀胱頸部硬化症（BNC）は，経尿道的前立腺切除術（TUR-P）の術後晩期合併症の一つであるが，その発生に関する臨床的背景については必ずしも明確にされていない。

　われわれは，過去10年間にTUR-Pを施行した1,630例を対象として，BNC発生例を抽出し，若干の臨床的検討を加えたのでここに報告する。

Bladder neck contracture developed postoperatively in 16 of 1,630 patients (1%) treated by TUR-Pat the Sanshinkai Hara Hospital between 1973 and 1982. Thirteen of 526 patients (2.5%) whose resected weights of the prostate were less than 10 grams were suffered with postoperative contracture, whereas only 3 of 1,000 patients (0.3%) with those resected more than 10 grams had contracture. These results suggest that TUR-P for a small prostate should be performed carefully not to damage bladder neck.
