特発性後腹膜線維化症の2例

TWO CASES OF IDIOPATHIC RETROPERITONEAL FIBROSIS

緒言

　特発性後腹膜線維化症は1948年Ormond^1）が後腹膜の非特異的炎症による尿管閉塞例として報告してから注目されてきた疾患である。

　本邦では1953年，棒^2）が尿管の通過障害を来した症例を報告したのが最初で，その後，現在までに53症例の報告をみる。本症は慢性病変ながらその予後は必ずしもよいとはいえない。その理由の一つとして，診断が必ずしも容易でないことがあげられる。

The first patient was a 71-year-old female who was admitted to the emergency room because of dypnea, hypotension, and abdominal pain. On 17th day, she died from unknown cause. Autopsy was performed.

The second case was a 35-year-old female who was admitted because of hematuria, weight loss, and pain in the right lesion. Intravenous urogram, showed dilated pelvis and ureter down to the level of L₅. On suspicion of malignant tumor, right nephroureterectomy was performed. Histologic examination of two patients demonstrated no malignant tissue but periureteral fibrosis deeply invading the ureteric wall.
