腹部腫瘤を主訴とした前立腺癌の1例

CARCINOMA OF PROSTATE PRESENTING AS ABDOMINAL MASS: A CASE REPORT

緒言

　前立腺癌ではリンパ節に転移を来すことは少なくないが，これが腹壁から触知されるような巨大な腫瘤を形成することは稀である。最近われわれは腹部腫瘤を主訴とした前立腺癌患者を経験したが，この腫瘤が腸骨リンパ節転移巣の増大によるものと判明したので，ここにその概略を報告し，若干の考察を加える。

A 70-year-old man was hospitalized for an asymptomatic abdominal mass in June 20, 1980. Physi-cal examination revealed a firm, smooth, not fixed, not tender mass of a hen's egg size, in the right lower abdomen. The prostate was of a goose's egg size, elastic and firm on rectal examination. Needle biopsy of the prostate showed a well differentiated adenocarcinoma. The serum acid phosphatase elevated up to 175.6 King-Armstrong unit. The urinary bladder was roentgenographically compressed by an extravesical mass. Both CT scan and arteriography disclosed two large masses in the pelvis.
