旭中央病院における最近5年間の男子尿道炎の臨床的観察

CLINICAL OBSERVATIONS OF MALE URETHRITIS FOR RECENT FIVE YEARS IN ASAHI GENERAL HOSPITAL

緒言

　近年，先進国，発展途上国の区別なく，諸外国における尿道炎の増加は著しいものがある。わが国においては，性病予防法にもとづく淋疾の届出患者数は，1965年から1967年にかけて一時的な増加をみた以外，順調に減少していたが，1978年より再び増加の傾向にある。1980年は7,661名であつた^1）。しかしながら，厚生省の性病届出患者統計は届出もれが多く，実際の動向を正確に把握しているとはいいがたい。今回われわれは，旭中央病院における1977年より1981年までの5年間の男子尿道炎患者を調べたので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

Clinical observations were made on male patients with urethritis for the last five years at Asahi General Hospital. The number of new patients with urethritis increased statistically during the last five years excluding 1978. The ratio of gonococcal and nongonococcal urethritis was about 2:3 in each year.

The sharply increased nuumber of patients infected from employed prostitutes, for example, at "Japanese turkish bath" was very noticeable. In contract, the increase in number of patients infected from prostitutes in foreign countries was small.
