男子淋疾の最近の動向

RECENT TREND IN MALE GONORRHOEA

緒言

　淋疾は梅毒とともに性病の代表的疾患であるが，近年わが国では性病対策が普及し，昭和40年代後半より淋疾患者は諸外国に比べ少ないとされてきた^1,2）。しかし，最近は日常診療で男子淋疾患者の増加のきざしがみられ，同時に難治性症例にも遭遇するようになつてきた。

　今回，こうした最近の淋疾の動向をとらえるために，都立台東病院と慈恵医大病院という性格と内容のやや異なる2つの病院を中心に，男子淋疾の臨床的検討を行つた。

The total of 1,293 patients with gonorrheal urethritis were reviewed at the urological division of Taito and Jikei University hospital between 1965 and 1980, and the following statistical and clinical investigation data were obtained.

The sharp increase of infected patients from prostitutes was very remarkable since 1979, especially from employees at Japan's "turkish bath" on both hospitals.

In the past 2 years, low effective rate of 68% after the therapy of ampicillin was obtained, indicating the increased penicillin resistance.
