化学療法が奏効した多発性膀胱乳頭状癌の治験例

THE EFFECT OF THIOTEPA IN A CASE OF MULTPLE PAPILLARY TUMOR OF URINARY BLADDER

緒言

　われわれは表在性膀胱腫瘍の再発防止を目的として，Thiotepaを膀胱内に注入している。その効果は著明であつて，成績の一部は第59回日本泌尿器科学会総会で発表し，原著としても報告した^1）。

　膀胱腫瘍は泌尿器科領域においてもつともしばしばみられる悪性腫瘍であるが，その形態はきわめて多彩であるため，治療法も多種多様である。

A case of multilpe papillary tumor of the urinary bladder in a 72 year old male showing trasitional cell carcinoma, grade II, was treated by intravesical instillation of Thiotepa. 10 instillation was done with 50 mg each time, lead to complete disapearance of the tumor.

It was supposed that intravesical instillation of Thiotepa showed effect for destruction of non-invasive bladder tumor.
