発熱を主訴とした成人Wilms腫瘍の1例

A CASE OF WILMS' TUMOR IN AN ADULT CLINICALLY MANIFESTED BY FEVER

緒言

　腎悪性腫瘍の病理学的分類，組織発生に関する見解は，いまだ定説をみていないようであり，個々の症例の組織診断に際しては，なお困難を感ずることが多い。私達は最近，成人Wilms腫瘍と最終診断された55歳男子症例を経験したので報告するとともに，本症例の初発症状が，38℃をこえる弛張熱であつたので，腎悪性腫瘍と非感染性発熱の関係についても，若干の文献的考察を加えた。

A case of Wilms tumor in a 55 year-old male with the chief complaint of remittent fever over 38 degree centigrade for few months and renal mass with pain, who did not respond to antibiotic treatment, under went nephrectomy for left renal tumor resulting in dramatic lowing of fever, died on the 8 1st post operative day after recurrent of fever, was reported. Histological examination revealed remarkably undifferentiated embryonal tumor (Wilms tumor).
