泌尿器科領域の腰背部・側腹部痛

PAIN IN THE BACK OR FLANK AMONG THE UROLOGICAL PATIENTS

はじめに

　腰背部痛の原因は複雑であり，整形外科をはじめ各科領域の原因疾患を羅列すれば相当な数に達する。泌尿器科領域においても腰背部痛，側腹部痛など疼痛を伴う疾患は多いがその実体についての詳細な追求はなされていない。私達は今回，外来患者を含めた当院泌尿器科患者について腰背部・側腹部痛の観点から調査を行なつたのでその結果を報告する。

242 cases or 6.1% of the 3981 outpatients within the last 5 years, who were complaining lumbago or flank pain, were studied. Among them, 91cases (37.6%) had renal and ureteral calculi, 59 cases (24.4%) had floating kidney and 28 cases (11.6%) had renal tuberculosis which means 73% of them were caused by the above three diseases and on the otherhand 39 cases or 16.1% were caused from disease other than the urogenital system. Patients visiting the urological clinic with lumbago or flank pain, must first be considered as the above 3 diseases.
