　症例は23歳，男性。左側腹部腫瘤を自覚し，前医を受診した。腹部CT検査で左後腹膜に巨大な腫瘤を認め当科に紹介され入院となった。悪性腫瘍を疑いCTガイド下生検を施行したところ線維腫の組織診断であり，左後腹膜腫瘍摘出術を施行した。病理組織学的診断は後腹膜線維腫症であった。手術後4か月経過し再発を認めていない。後腹膜に発生した線維腫症の報告は少なく，自験例は調べ得る限り本邦8例目と考えられた。

　A 23-year-old man was admitted with a complaint of left abdominal swelling. Radiographic examinations revealed a huge mass in the left retroperitoneum. Pathological diagnosis by CT guided biopsy was fibroid tumor without malignancy. The patient underwent surgical operation. The tumor, in the size of 26×16×10cm, 2,500g was excised associated with resection of the left kidney. Histological diagnosis was retroperitoneal fibromatosis. He has been free of tumor for four months after operation. There are few reports of fibromatosis from retroperitoneum, and to our knowledge, this case was eighth case reported in Japan.（Rinsho Hinyokika 61：549-552, 2007）
