精巣しょう膜由来と考えられた悪性中皮腫

Malignant mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis

　67歳，男性。右陰囊内の無痛性腫大を主訴に某院を受診し，右精巣腫瘍が疑われ当科に紹介された。触診上，右陰囊内に可動性のない手拳大の腫瘤を認めた。精巣腫瘍マーカーはすべて基準値内。右陰囊内腫瘍の診断で，腫瘍摘除術を施行した。腫瘍は陰囊皮膚と癒着しており，陰囊皮膚と一塊にして摘除した。病理組織所見は悪性中皮腫であった。現在外来経過観察中であるが，明らかな再発，遠隔転移の所見は認めていない。

　A 67-year-old man was referred to our hospital,complaining of painless swelling in the right scrotum,which was suspected a right testicular tumor. Ultrasonography demonstrated approximately 6cm-large mass in the right scrotum. The serum tumor makers were found to be in normal range. The patient underwent tumor resection under the diagnosis of right intrascrotal tumor. Histopathological diagnosis was malignant mesothelioma. The patient has no evidence of recurrence for eight months without further treatment.
