尿閉をきたした子宮筋腫

Acute urinary retention due to uterine leiomyoma

症例は44歳，女性。産婦人科で子宮筋腫の診断で通院中の約1年間，間歇的に排尿困難を自覚していた。尿閉となったため当科を受診した。尿閉となりうる基礎疾患や投薬歴がなく，触診や画像検査で比較的大きい子宮筋腫を認めたため，子宮筋腫による尿閉の疑いで子宮全摘術を施行した。術後，排尿困難は改善した。

A 44-year-old female having uterine leiomyoma had noticed difficulty in voiding intermittently,especially at premenstrual periods for about one year before she came to our clinic with a complaint of urinary retention. She had neither underlying diseases nor taking medicines considered to be related with urinary retention except for large uterine myoma. Total hysterectomy was performed and postoperatively she has no complaint of difficult urination.
