A 59-year-old female was suspected of having uterine cancer in August 1968. She was admitted to the Department of Gynecology of the Hirosaki University Hospital and treated with 60Co irradiation, radon seed application, and antineoplestic drugs. In the course of treat ment skin metastasis resembling nodular vasculitis was noted in July, 1970, which disappeared leaving pigmentation after 2,400 R of the 60Co irradiation. She died in December, 1970, and an autopsy was performed.

Biopsy specimens from the uterus and metastastatic nodule showed a picture of basal cell carcinoma. Autopsy revealed metatases in the lungs, stomach, jejunum, ileum, left adrenal gland, tibial and plantar bones, and bilateral hilar lymphnodes.
