小児顎下腺多形腺腫の1例

Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Submandibular Gland in a Pediatric Patient

　はじめに

　唾液腺に発生する多形腺腫の報告は，これまで数多くなされているが，小児期に発生するものは極めて稀である。今回われわれは，穿刺吸引細胞診で術前診断が可能であった小児顎下腺多形腺腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Pleomorphic adenoma of the submandibulargland is rare in children. There are only 15 cases, including our case, in the literature. In an 8-year-old girl fine needle aspiration cytology was avail-able for preoperative diagnosis.

During operation, the tumor was 2.6×2.2×2.0 cm in size, and was easily removed. We concluded that any tumor along with the submandibular gland should be resected.
