下口唇粘膜面に硬性下疳を呈した第1期梅毒の1例

Primary Syphilis with a Hard Chancre of the Lower Lip Mucosa:A Case Report

　はじめに

　最近報告されている口腔・咽頭梅毒の多くは第2期梅毒であるが^1），今回われわれは下口唇粘膜面に硬性下疳を呈した第1期梅毒の1例を経験したので，治療経過ならびに若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 29-year-old male was suffering from a left submandibular mass and left lower lip chancre.Examination revealed a shallow ulcer on the left lower lip mucosa and bilateral cervical lymph nodes swelling. The initial diagnosis was stomatitis or malignant lymphoma. The serological tests for syphilis were positive. The final diagnosis was primary syphilis. After administration of antibiotics the ulcer disappeared and the serological data re-turned to the normal range, but the cervical lymph nodes swelling had been persisting for 7 months.
