Nasal Polypectomy with Shavers in the Office Setting

　はじめに

　シェーバーシステム（最近はマイクロデブリッダーシステムと呼ぶことも多い）は持続吸引を備えたパワーインストルメントである（図1,2）。

　シェーバーによる鼻茸切除術は，他の手術器具による場合と比べ手術時間，出血量，術野の状態などの点で優れているという報告が多いため^1〜6），外来での同手術をより容易に安全に行うことができるものと期待できる。

We report on the use of an office-based approach to nasal polyp disease utilizing the shavers. We successfully performed powered endoscopic nasal polypectomy for 27 patients (43 nasal sides) easily, with relative bloodless, safely and effectively. For only one case, nasal packing was necessary.
