はじめに
鼓室形成術は，最近では一般的な手術として各施設で広く行われ，多くの成果をあげている。しかし，1,000例を越えるようなまとまった鼓室形成術の報告は，必ずしも多くはない。今回，日本医科大学付属病院耳鼻咽喉科で鼓室形成術を行ったもののうち，少なくとも手術の一部は著者が施行した1,006耳の統計的検討を行った。同一術者が行った手術例を解析することは，その手術方式が比較的均一であることによる統計的分析上の利点があると考えたからである。
The analysis of 1,006 cases which received tympanoplasty performed totally or partly by one surgeon in Nippon Medical School Main Hospital was carried out.
The types of tympanoplasty, the relationship between pure tone threshold (PTT) and age, the PTT changes after surgery, and complications were mainly analyzed and discussed.
