舌神経由来の神経鞘腫の1例

Schwannoma of the Lingual Nerve: Report of a Case

　はじめに

　神経鞘腫は外胚葉系のSchwann細胞に由来する腫瘍で多くは頭蓋内，特に聴神経から発生している。一方，その他の部位での発生も少なからずあり，耳鼻咽喉科領域においては舌，鼻副鼻腔，咽喉頭，口蓋等からの発生が報告されている。今回われわれは左顎下部に発生した舌神経由来の神経鞘腫を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 34-year-old woman developed a painless mass in the left submandibular region for 2 years. The operative findings, and the pathological examina-tions revealed schwannoma of the lingual nerve. Schwannoma of the lingual nerve is extremely rare in review of the available literature. The postoperative course was uneventful and there was no evidence of recurrence at the time of the report.
