舌神経分枝由来の神経鞘腫の1例

Schwannoma Arising from a Branch of the Lingual Nerve:A Case Report

　はじめに

　神経鞘腫は外胚葉系のSchwann細胞に由来する腫瘍で，Schwann細胞が存在するところなら原則的に全身どこでも発生し得る。頭頸部領域では聴神経腫瘍を除けば側頸部に最も多く，舌や口蓋，口腔底など口腔領域では数が少ない^1）。

　今回われわれは舌神経由来の神経鞘腫を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 26-year-old man was referred to our department because of a swelling in the right oral floor. The preope-rative diagnosis was a left sublingual gland tumor and thus the patient was operated on. The skin incision was made at the submandibular lesion of the neck. The operative findings revealed that the tumor arose from one branch of the lingual nerve. Histopathologically it was schwannoma. In review of the available literature, 6 cases of schwannomas of the lingual nerve have been reported.
