心身医学的治療が奏効した咽喉頭異常感症の1例

A Case of Pharyngopathy Treated by Psychosomatic Therapy with Successful Result

　はじめに

　咽喉頭に関する不定愁訴は咽喉頭異常感症と呼ばれ，その原因として心理的因子の関与を指摘する報告は多い。

　しかし，実際の診療において心身医学的治療が行われることは少なく，何ら変化のない苦痛を有しながら転医を重ねる場合も多いものと思われる。

　今回われわれは，転医を繰り返した咽喉頭異常感症の症例に対して，心身医学的治療を行い奏効したので報告する。

A 62-year-old female complained of a persistent abnormal sensation in the throat. She had received a diagnosis of pharyngopathy and already changed doctors for five times during her course of treat-ment. Most of doctors advised her not to worry about. It was considered that she was in the state of neurotic depression and hypochondriac neurosis.

Owing to sympathetic approaches, good patient-doctor relationship was made rapidly. Then her symptom was improved with the combination of sympathetic approaches and antidepressant therapy.
