良性壊死性外耳道骨炎の1例

A Case of Benign Necrotizing Osteitis of the External Auditory Meatus

はじめに

　良性壊死性外耳道骨炎（Benign necrotizing os—teitis of the external auditory meatus）という疾患名は耳慣れたものではなく，渉猟し得たかぎり本邦にその報告はない。欧米においても現在までに5編の論文を見るのみである。われわれは外耳道底部に骨破壊を伴う肉芽性炎症をきたした症例を経験した。特異な局所所見を呈し，診断が困難であったが最終的に良性壊死性外耳道骨炎に該当すると考えられた。ここにその症例について若干の考察を加えて報告する。

A patient showed chronic inflammation with granulation tissue and extensive bony necrosis at the floor of his left external ear canal. The bot-tom of the necrotized tissue was covered with keratinized stratified squamous epithelium. We suggest that first branchial cleft anomaly may be one of the causes of this condition.
