I．はじめに

　最近の画像診断法の発達により神経耳科学的検査では確定診断のつかない早期聴神経腫瘍が容易に診断できるようになってきた。とくにair CTcisternography （air CTC）とtarget imagingを併用することにより診断確率はほぼ100％といえる。一方画像診断で早期聴神経腫瘍と確定診断された症例の神経耳科学的所見を検討すると，温度性眼振検査での半規管麻痺（CP）やABRの陽性率は従来述べられているほど高率ではないように思われる。今回われわれは早期聴神経腫瘍の神経耳科学的所見と初発症状について検討を加えたので報告する。

Initial symptoms, the results of caloric test and ABR in 13 cases of acoustic neurinoma in early stage were investigated. Initial symptoms were classified as follows : progressing hearing loss (5 cases, 38.5%), dizziness (3, 23.0%) and sudden deafness (5, 38.5%).

Seven cases (53.8%) showed CP in caloric test. Maximum eye speed (MES) was the most useful than other parameters. Eight cases (66.7 %) showed abnormal findings in ABR.

Four cases showed normal findings in caloric test and ABR. On the other hand, 9 cases (69.3 %) showed expansion of the internal auditory meatus on tcmograms.
