外科的治療を行った咽頭食道憩室症例

Surgical treatment of pharyngo-esopageal diverticulum：report of a case

Ⅰ．はじめに

　咽頭食道憩室はわが国では比較的稀な疾患である。その発生頻度は全消化管憩室の中で約1％と報告されている^1）。

　今回われわれは，輪上咽頭筋切断術・食道縦走筋切断術を行った結果，良好な術後経過が得られた咽頭食道憩室の症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を含めて報告する。

　A 75-year-old man complaining of difficulty swallowing had a small pharyngo-esophageal diverticulum. The cricopharyngeal myotomy was performed by external cervical approach under general anesthesia. No serious surgical complications occurred,and the patient could eat without dysphagea at the time of discharge from hospital.

　Pharyngo-esophageal diverticulum is rare in Japan. The most cases were operated on through external cervical approach although endoscopic diverticulotomy was reported to be useful in the foreign journals.

　It is necessary for us to create a guideline of treatment policy for pharyngo-esophageal diverticulum.
