Ⅰ．はじめに

　耳性頭蓋内合併症は抗菌薬の発達に伴って減少し，致死率も減少してきたといわれている^1）。しかし報告例はいまだに散見され^1～11），重篤性に注意を要する疾患であることに変わりはない。一方，外耳道癌も稀な疾患であり，渉猟した限りでは外耳道に限局した扁平上皮癌を伴った耳性脳膿瘍の本邦例はみあたらなかった。今回われわれは外耳道癌を伴った耳性脳膿瘍症例を経験したので考察を含めて報告する。

　Otogenic intracranial complication and mortality ratios have decreased due to advances in antibiotic. However, serious complications can still occur. Cancer of the external auditory canal is rare. We experienced a very rare case in which there was an otogenic brain abscess with cancer limited to the external auditory canal. Enhanced CT and MRI are important to diagnose the disease early, and various operative procedures are needed to treat each case, in cooperation with neurosurgeons.
